Aleurites moluccane, generally known as candlenut tree or Indian Walnut and among other names.Aleurites moluccane is a native plant to Malaysia,polynesia and the South Sea Island with wide distributation througthout the south and southeast of Brazil and tropics.


the tree of Aleurites moluccane  can grow up to 10m tall.Aleurites  is derived from a Greek words meaning "wheaten flour" becouse of the appreance of the under surface of the leaves.the seeds of Aleurites moluccane cannot be eaten raw because its toxic,however if the seed were cooked it can be eaten sparingly as condiment.the part of Aleurites moluccane that has medicinal properties are the kernel and the leaves

temu kunci is a ginger species that can be found at india,sri lanka,southeast asia and southern china. boesenbergia rotunda belong to the family of zingiberaceae. in english boesenbergia rotunda were called as Chinese keys or finger root. meanwhile in Malay it were called temu kunci and in Thailand as krachai or krachai-dang.

boesenbergia rotunda has a flower that are scarlet and bloom throughout the year in tropical countries.those pretty flowers always unnoticeable because they are usually hidden at the base of the foliage. boesenbergia rotunda also have broad and light green while the leaf sheath is red. this herbs also have small globular shaped central subterranean rhizome from which several slander and long tubers sprout all in the same direction like fingers,no wonder its common name is finger roots.

Chromolaena odorata is a rapidly growing perennial herb. It is a multi-stemmed shrub to 2.5 m (100 inches) tall in open areas. It has soft stems but the base of the shrub is woody. In shady areas it becomes etiolated and behaves as a creeper, growing on other vegetation. It’s leaves give off a pungent, aromatic odour when crushed.The white to pale pink tubular flowers are in panicles of 10 to 35 flowers that form at the ends of branches. The seeds are achenes and are somewhat hairy. They are mostly spread by the wind, but at the same time can cling to fur, clothes and machinery, enabling long distance dispersal. Seed production is about 80000 to 90000 per plant. The plant also can regenerate from the roots. In favourable conditions the plant can grow more than 3 cm per day. Because of that C. odorata is a very widely distributed tropical shrub that is still expanding its range. This plant is considered one of the world’s worst weeds. It continues to spread due to its effective short- and long-distance dispersal.
