what is senduduk?
Melastoma malabathricum(senduduk) are
also known as Malabar melastome, Indian rhododendron and Singapore rhododendron. There are two
varieties of senduduk that is purple and white flower. White flower is even
more famous since it is used by many traditional medicine practitioners as a
cure in spiritually challenge environment.

only attempt to establish acute toxicity profile Melastoma malabathricum(senduduk) was performed by Sunilson et al.
The result show that the nontoxic effect of sendudk up to the dosage of 2000 mg/kg
when given to mice. This prove that the Melastoma malabathricum(senduduk) is safe for consumption even at the highest
dosage (2000 mg/kg) and justifies the traditional
uses of senduduk.
